MAINTENANCE

      BRAKES

Your vehicle's brakes consist of five main components: brake pads, rotors, calipers, lines, and a master cylinder. These vital components need to be checked on every service (every 6 months or 10000kms) for wear and natural breakdown of moving components.

Tip: To ensure efficient braking is produced constantly, make sure your brakefluid is changed or flushed regulary about every 1.5 to 2 years, depending on your driving style.

      CAR SERVICING

Despite the misconception that many newer vehicles no longer require tune-ups, all vehicles require routine maintenance in order to avoid performance problems such as hard starting, misfiring, surging, hesitation, and stalling. Not only does engine maintenance reduce the chance of expensive car repairs further down the line, a proper tune-up will also save you money at the gas-pump.

Tip: Make sure you adhere to the manufacturers or service manager's servicing schedule as vital fluids in your car can wear out and cause internal damage. This can vary between 6-12 months.

      WHEELS & SUSPENSION

If your vehicle has worn down steering or suspension parts, this can lead to excessive wear on your tires and overall poor alignment. The steering and suspension systems in your vehicle are complex, and problems with one of these systems may also negatively affect other systems of your vehicle. By replacing worn parts, you can restore your vehicle’s performance. This is why we recommend an inspection of your steering and suspension parts each time we perform a scheduled maintenance service.

Tip: Always ensure that your vehicle has the correct tyre pressures all round including the spare tyre. This can save you wear on tyres and fuel. Check these pressures everytime you fill fuel. Save $$$ in the long run.
